Analysis and Visualization of disparity in Hollywood

Technology Used: Web Scraping using Beautiful Soup (Python), ChartJS, D3JS, Tableau

• Collected and analyzed raw data using Web Scraping on IMDb
• Developed web application to showcase various interactive representations of the trends of disparity in Hollywood based on demographics, gender and race using SVG’s, ChartJS, and D3JS

Android Application for Events search

• Developed an android app which allowed users to search for events based on their interests, get more information on it such as ticket prices, save the events as favorites and tweet those events.

Security Enhancement using keystroke biometrics

• Built a secure, cheap and efficient application of detecting a valid user through keystroke biometrics technique
• Increased performance of biometrics by achieving a low CER (Crossover Error Rate) using Java and Apache Derby
